MEET DR. STEPHEN GLASS

Professional and Personal Passion for Education

With over twenty-seven years of dedicated service as an educator, I have a proven track record of enhancing the quality of education in our schools at all levels, as a classroom teacher, principal, district administrator, university professor, and school board trustee. The success of our schools is not only a professional passion, it’s personal. My children attend Orange Unified schools.

Board trustee decisions affect my kids as much as yours.

"Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it."

                                       - Marian Wright Edelman

My multifaceted career includes positions within the Orange Unified School District. While employed at Orange High School I met a fellow teacher, Sheryl; we fell in love and married on campus in “The Dome.” We've proudly called the City of Orange home for twelve years. Today, I mentor future educators and administrators as a "Distinguished Faculty in Residence" at CSU Long Beach while Sheryl continues serving Orange Unified.
